ORC is on the move!
The time has arrived for the Conservatorium to transform itself and move into a purpose-built home that will serve the next generations of musicians and audiences.
It is with thanks to all three levels of government who have believed in our ORC vision and invested a total of $25M that the Orange region will benefit from one of the most significant pieces of new cultural infrastructure in regional Australia.
But it’s not only about a beautiful building. With your support, the Conservatorium can be equipped with the highest quality musical and technical equipment for our diverse community.

After 30 years of continuous growth the Orange Regional Conservatorium is set to expand further. Our new home in the Orange Cultural Precinct will be a purpose-fit facility from which the whole community can experience the best in music education and performance.
With the construction costs funded by Federal, State and Local Government, it is now our task to bring to life the Music Within. The complete and high-quality fit-out of each studio, classroom and rehearsal space will provide future generations the opportunity to learn seamlessly, while the fit-out of the Recital Hall will guarantee audiences the most captivating experiences.
The purpose of the Music Within campaign is the complete fit-out of the new building, for which we aim to raise $1.5 million.
Music Within you
As a not-for-profit organisation, that receives limited funding from the NSW Government for operating costs, the ORC replies on the generosity of our donor community to provide extra opportunities, support and resources to our students.
Our target is to raise $1.5 million dollars to out-fit the new ORC building, ensuring every room can be taught, rehearsed and performed in at the highest standard from day one.
Your generous donations will contribute to the purchase of pianos, music stands, specialist chairs, staging equipment, teaching resources, instruments, studio fit-outs, furniture, technology and much more.
