ORANGE REGIONAL CONSERVATORIUM
MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Donor Support
Your support for regional music education & opportunities
Each year, the Orange Regional Conservatorium awards a range of Music Scholarships to the talented young musicians of regional NSW. Supported largely by our generous donor base, these scholarships provide emerging musicians with financial assistance to learn under the tuition of the ORC’s professional teachers and performers.
Our scholarship program is open to all young musicians of the Orange region who wish to study at the ORC. It is diverse, inclusive, and expanding year upon year—offering support to the lesser-studied or “endangered” instruments, and ensuring opportunities for guitarists, drummers, singers, string players, pianists, and many others. The program also provides specialist support for HSC Music students and identified Indigenous students.
Sponsoring an ORC Music Scholarship directly contributes to the tuition fees of the recipient, ensuring that your generosity has a direct and lasting impact on their musical journey. Giving to an ORC scholarship is a wonderful way to nurture young artists—whether they are just beginning their musical path or preparing to enter tertiary studies.
There are several ways to financially support an ORC scholarship. You can contribute towards part or all of a student’s annual tuition fees, or assist students to join an ensemble or choir. You may choose to support an existing ORC scholarship from our junior or senior instrument categories, or share your ideas for a new or innovative scholarship—we would love to hear from you.
No donation is too small. Every contribution makes a difference and helps open the door to music education for students in our region.
