Invest in Your Musical Future: ORC Scholarships Now Open

At the Orange Regional Conservatorium, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to reach their musical potential. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, we are proud to offer 28 scholarships in 2027, supporting students across a wide range of instruments, genres and stages of learning.

Our scholarship program is designed to recognise commitment, musical potential and enthusiasm while helping to reduce the financial barriers that can come with music education. Whether you're just beginning your musical journey, preparing for HSC Music, looking to join an ensemble, or developing advanced performance skills, there's likely a scholarship that's right for you.

Scholarships are available across piano, strings, brass, woodwind, voice, percussion, guitar, contemporary music, ensembles, Indigenous students, HSC support and more. We also offer specialised scholarships for endangered instruments, ensuring these important musical traditions continue to thrive.

Receiving an ORC Scholarship is about more than financial support. It's an opportunity to set goals, gain performance experience, build confidence and be recognised for your dedication to music. Many of our scholarship recipients go on to become leaders within our ensembles, performers in our community and ambassadors for music in the Central West.

We encourage all eligible students to consider applying. You don't have to be the most advanced musician to be successful—our scholarship panel looks for students who demonstrate passion, commitment, a willingness to learn and a genuine love of making music.

We are incredibly grateful to the individuals, families and organisations whose generosity makes these scholarships possible. Their investment helps ensure that talented young musicians continue to grow, perform and contribute to the vibrant musical life of our region.
