Dominic Goodwin-Hauck | Guitar
Dominic is a guitarist specialising in both classical and contemporary styles, having trained in both throughout his musical journey. He began learning guitar at the Gunnedah Conservatorium in 2013 and hasn’t put the instrument down since. Starting with contemporary guitar under Joel Pickett, and later studying classical guitar with Harold Gretton at the Riverina Conservatorium, Dominic found an appreciation for the versatility, expression, and joy that can be found within a guitar.
His love of music led him to share it with others - Dominic began teaching guitar at the Gunnedah Conservatorium before pursuing a Bachelor of Education (Secondary Music) to deepen his skills as a teacher. Over the past three years, he has taught in a wide range of contexts, from private lessons and small ensembles to classroom music and community choirs, helping students of all ages find a genuine love of music.
Dominic strives to create a welcoming and open learning environment where students can feel inspired to explore and understand their instrument. He loves seeing students discover the joy of playing music and taking further steps on their musical journey.
