Join Estampa for an interactive musical workshop exploring how one melody can travel the world. Using Abdullah Ibrahim's African Marketplace as a starting point, participants will learn the tune by ear, discover interlocking rhythms through clapping and movement, and perform together as an ensemble. Along the way, Estampa will demonstrate how the same melody can be transformed into a French waltz, Swedish polska, Brazilian bossa nova and even a lively bluegrass finale. Suitable for musicians who can comfortably play instrument without music.

Recommended for AMEB grade 4+ or equivalent. This hands-on workshop celebrates creativity, collaboration and the joy of making music together.
