Practice-a-Thon
This June, ORC Students have the opportunity to participate in a special challenge to prioritise their musical practice, and support a great cause. Every note they play will help raise funds for the ORC's 'Music Within' campaign, aiming to equip our new building with the essential instruments and equipment needed from day one.
While the foundations have been laid by the three levels of government, it's ORC's turn to fill it with music and passion. Your support will not only encourage students to push their limits but also contribute to a vibrant future for our music community.
Every dollar donated will both encourage our students to practice and contribute towards making our new building truely something special.
There will be prizes for the most money fundraised and the most hours of practice recorded. Each student will need to document their practice hours on their web page where friends and family can donate.

While ORC students practice hard, six brave teachers are stepping into their students' shoes by taking on the challenge of learning a new instrument. Each of these staff members will set themselves a goal to have a piece of music ready to record at the end of the term!
As our teachers juggle the roles of student and mentor, their journey will be encouraging and empowering for our students and boost community spirit. So, let's rally behind them and our students, making this term's fundraiser not just a success, but a testament to the power of music and determination. Let the music begin!
