Mitch offers percussion tuition for the ORC, he mostly features on the drum kit.
Mitch tailors his teaching to each student. His teaching method for percussion is to teach core areas and then to encourage the student to which direction they want to take. Whether that be a particular style, specific genre, technique, improvisation, ensembles, etc. Mitch’s life is about music and percussion which is evident in his passion to providing solid music education to his students. Mitch offers tuition for percussion for those as young as 5yrs up to the adult learner.

Jacob Pickett | Drum Kit/Percussion

Jacob Pickett is a diverse and experienced percussionist. After finishing school Jacob studied Contemporary Music while playing drums in a variety of bands, he has since become one of the regions most in-demand percussionists, performing in local musical theatre productions, up and coming original acts, commercial music groups and more. Jacob has been playing in the City of Orange Brass Band since he was a teenager and has a wealth of experience as a brass and wind band drummer. He joined the ORC in 2019, he is currently teaching at the Orange Anglican Grammar School and previously Kinross Wolaroi School.
