Samantha is a highly trained and experienced vocalist and teacher. She sings and teaches styles from Classical to Musical Theatre to Jazz. Samantha has studied vocal pedagogy (singing teaching) through Sydney Conservatorium enjoying research into many aspects of singing teaching especially female adolescent voice. Samantha can often be seen leading many of the ORC choirs including Little Singers, Crescendo, Caesura and Come Together.

Bill’s love of music and singing is evident throughout his involvement in many vocal projects throughout Australia. He is often involved in theatre productions with their choirs and the Symphony of Australia’s Choir.



Ben Macpherson OAM
Choral Conductor
Ben Macpherson has an extensive background as a choral and orchestral conductor. He was musical director of the Sydney University Musical Society for 23 years from 1983, performing many of the major choral/orchestral masterworks. He was conductor-in-residence of the Sydney University Orchestra and has conducted most of Sydney’s major youth orchestras, such as the Sydney Youth Orchestra, the SBS Youth Orchestra and orchestras from the Sydney Conservatorium.
In the Australia Day honours in 2002 Ben was awarded the medal of the Order of Australia for services to the community in the field of music. In 2009 he was made an Honorary Fellow of Sydney University.


Amelia Nell

Amelia Nell is a contemporary singing teacher who specialises in teaching styles including rock, pop, jazz, rhythm and blues, contemporary musical theatre and more. She is a singer/songwriter/ pianist in her own right and many of her students are professional working singers, performing on a regular basis through her assistance in voice training, artist development and performance coaching.

Amelia also has a keen interest in contemporary a cappella choral directing, writing and arranging and is the director of the award-winning Vocalocity Vocal Ensemble. She is committed to ongoing professional development in multiple areas concerning music education, voice science and vocal pedagogy and regularly attends industry accredited workshops and conferences.

Singing lessons and vocal ensembles with Amelia are all about learning exciting ways to strengthen and express your singing voice in an engaging and supportive atmosphere. She fosters the individuality of each singer, strives to instil a sense of confidence and wellbeing and encourages them to express themselves through creativity. It is her hope that you leave her studio with a smile on your face, saying “that was FUN!”.
