B Mus Ed, Sydney Conservatorium.
Donna has served as a passionate advocate for Music Education in the Western Region for over 30 years.
After a long and distinguished career as a music teacher with the Department of Education and Communities, in 2002 Donna was awarded the Director General’s Award for Excellent Service to Public Education.
Prior to becoming Music Director of the Orange Regional Conservatorium in 2014, Donna served as Head of Keyboard and Academic Studies for many years.
Her diverse role at the conservatorium has seen her administer the piano faculty, provide accompaniment services, prepare students for piano/musicianship examinations and performances, teach music in schools, nurture and maintain links with local schools, provide professional learning workshops for classroom teachers and conduct community and school choirs.
Donna delights in being able to provide quality music experiences to people of all ages and abilities in the Orange community.
Kelly joined the ORC as Business Manager in May 2013 after a long career in Sydney. She holds a Bachelor of Arts – Communication from Charles Sturt University, a Diploma of Advertising from Macleay College Sydney, and a Certificate IV in Human Resources. Kelly worked for many years in PR and marketing for leading Sydney Communications firm, Liquid Ideas, under the directorship of well-known communications expert, speaker and wine guru Stuart Gregor. Kelly led many communication campaigns for clients including Jacob’s Creek, Mumm Champagne and Emma and Tom’s, to name a few. After a while it was evident that Kelly’s strengths lie in business management and therefore she moved into the Business Operations Manager role. Hailing originally from Mudgee, Kelly and her husband David, finally decided it was time to return to the Central West to settle down. Kelly loves to travel, knows a fair bit about wine but knows nothing about music (although she is learning very quickly!) and is in fact, finally learning how to play the piano.
Kiah is excited to join the Conservatorium in 2019 after accounting and auditing in public practice for over 10 years. She has her Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Master of Business Administration, Cert IV in Training and Assessing, and is a Chartered Accountant. Kiah has worked with many not-for-profits just like the Conservatorium, during her career. Kiah is looking forward to the opportunity to provide support to Management, the Board and our lovely staff and students over the coming years. She has already been inspired to get back into playing her guitar and to introduce her young daughter to the world of music.
