Learning in a group setting is a fun, social and cost effective introduction to music for kids. The Orange Regional Conservatorium offers a range of engaging group classes for children aged 0-10 years:
Tuesdays 5:30pm – 6:15pm, $125/term
Thursdays 3:45 – 4:30pm, $125/term
Treble Maker classes are an introduction to singing lessons in small groups for kids 5-10 years of age. Members learn the fundamentals of music performance and theory through songs, games and activities. Treble Maker students are soon ready move into individual lessons and choirs.
Beginner Violin Group
Tuesdays 3:45pm – 4:30pm, $100/term
Lisa Stewart (Acacia Quartet) and Carmel Follent lead a group of enthusiastic young violinists through the fundamentals of music making using the influential Suzuki Method. Lisa and Carmel’s enthusiasm and energy for Early Childhood Music Education is never ending! Perfect for kids aged 4-8 (and parents are welcome to learn too!)
