Dancer Adrian Medina and an 8-piece band will launch the 2021 ORC Program with an energetic and interactive show of Cuban dance, jazz, chanting and storytelling. Celebrate Orange Regional Conservatorium’s 2021 Program Launch with Caribé. This bountiful collaboration with Cuban dancer Adrian Medina and an 8-piece band is engaging and entertaining for wallflowers and hipshakers alike. Caribé’s Havana Return crafts Cuban traditional and classic forms in a contemporary way resulting in music that is unique and fresh. The percussion and rhythm section set up a crackling, thunderous bed for Medina to move and the group to solo over. Their enthusiasm and raw spontaneity is impossible to resist. “Rhythm is the spine and it is this heartbeat pulsing through everything”–Adrian Medina
