Why become a member?

Our members now have a once in a lifetime opportunity to join together to help the ORC fulfill a long held dream – the construction of a purpose built, state of the art Conservatorium – from which we can all inspire, create and enjoy excellence in musical education and performance.

Standard Membership

Our full fee annual membership is $55 (single) and $95 (double) and provides:

  • two complimentary tickets per year to ANY concert of choice organised and managed by the ORC (tickets must still be reserved)
  • 15% discount on ALL concerts organised and managed by the ORC 
  • invitation to our annual program launch with special guest artist
  • invitations to selected workshops and masterclasses
  • access to selected orchestral rehearsals
  • pre-sale offers to ticketed events
  • newsletter email with exclusive promotions and events

Individual tuition and participant membership

Our individual tuition and participant membership annual fee is exceptional value at $25 per person. This membership type appreciates and rewards those who support the Conservatorium through tuition and ensemble fees. It is available to students and to parents of our younger students (under 18 years of age) and for anyone who regularly participates in one of our amazing ensembles and provides:

  • 10% discount on ALL concerts organised and managed by the ORC
  • invitations to selected workshops and master classes
  • pre-sale offers to ticketed events
  • newsletter email with exclusive promotions and events

How to become a member

It’s simple:

  1. Complete the application form; manually or electronically. Apllication forms available through www.orangecon.org.au or the ORC Administration office. 
  2. Submit your completed form to the administration office or send via email to admin@orangecon.org.au

The Conservatorium is an incorporated association and therefore must abide by its rules (the Constitution); those rules currently state that:

i. you have to be nominated for membership by 2 current members
AND
ii. a member of the Board of the Conservatorium must approve your application

To streamline the application process for you, if you prefer, simply submit your application either by email or in person and we will arrange for the nominations by current members. The Board will process your application as quickly as possible.

  • you will be notified in writing, preferably by email, when your membership has been completed and advised of the various ways your membership fee can be paid
  • the administration office will supply you with your membership card once payment has been made
  • your email address will be added to our e-newsletter database so you are the first to know about our news, events and announcements
  • remember to have a look at our website to keep up-to-date with all that is going on at your Conservatorium and especially, make sure you logon to your members’ only webpage

Membership Terms & Conditions

  • membership is annual and commences on 1 July of each year 
  • memberships are paid only as a single or double annual membership fee
  • approved members will be issued with a membership card
  • memberships are non-refundable
  • membership entitlements are non-transferable
  • young students are students who are under 18 years of age
